The Upper Moreland - Willow Grove Patch is happy to present February's Willow Grove Rotary Club's student of the month.

Upper Moreland High School senior Kristi Lowery received the February Willow Grove Rotary Club Student of the Month Award from Willow Grove Rotary President Dan Sulkowski.

Kristi enjoys participating in Key Club and volunteers with the Special Olympics and the Senior Writing Program. She especially enjoys the writing program, where she travels to nursing homes, and helps the seniors with the writing of their memoirs.

Outside of school, Kristi plays in a rugby league at College Settlement in Horsham. In addition to playing rugby at the facility, she also volunteers her time for Clean Up Day.  This is an activity where the team members clean up the property at College Settlement, and prepare and serve dinner to the children that attend camp there and their families.
