The Upper Moreland High School Class of 2012 held its graduation ceremony June 6, on the high school's football field.
According to a Montgomery Media article, the high school's principal, Joy Perisho, gave a speech that recognized the students' reaching this major milestone in their lives, but added that some of the most important moments in their lives will come with their continued personal growth.
Other speakers also talked about the importance of continued learning throughout the rest of the students' lives, while keeping in mind the foundation that Upper Moreland High School has given them.
According to the article, 246 Upper Moreland High School students received their diplomas.
