Power Goes Out at Upper Moreland Schools

The lights went out at the Intermediate, Middle and Primary schools in Upper Moreland Monday morning.

Upper Moreland schools experienced a power outage early Monday morning in multiple buildings.

The electricity went out at the Intermediate, Middle and Primary schools for about an hour or so before morning classes started. Some students still found the time to talk about the incident through Social Media on Twitter.

The school district has confirmed the power has been restored and classes are resuming as scheduled. The lights were back on around 8 a.m.

Upper Moreland Primary & Intermediate Schools have early dismissal because of parent-teacher conferences Monday and Tuesday before Spring Break starts Wednesday. Upper Moreland Middle School and Upper Moreland High School are in normal session.
