Supervised Playground Program Available in Upper Moreland

Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation provides a day-camp for youth, designed with busy families in mind.

The Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 2013 Supervised Playground Program from June 24 – Aug. 16.

The program, over 25 years old, runs for eight weeks, and parents can choose all eight weeks, or split the time in half, omitting July 4.

While the Supervised Playgrounds may have started as actual supervised playground visits, the program itself has evolved to incorporate various youth-focused recreational activities, featuring sports, games, arts and crafts and special events.
