Trash Pickup Resumes, Make Blackout Poetry This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Upper Moreland Township.

If your regular trash and recycling day is Thursday–and was postponed because of the Fourth of July holiday–your pickup will be on Monday.

The Upper Moreland Public Works Department is scheduled to pave Bartram Road on Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting. Residents are asked to have all cars removed from the street before 6:30 a.m., or risk being towed at the owner’s expense. The township also requests that all portable basketball nets be removed from the street and sidewalk area.

The Upper Moreland School Board will not meet in July. Typically the board meets Tuesday evenings.
