Lotto Jackpot, Wawa Grading, Gas Station on Agenda This Week

The Willow Grove Rita's location, 1135 York Road, is offering a buy two, get one free special on Monday for the purchase of water ice quarts. 

The Upper Moreland Commissioners will meet at the municipal building, 117 Park Ave., on Monday at 7 p.m. for its regular board meeting.

The governing body will consider a request by Bruce Goodman for permission to begin grading at the future Wawa site, 151 York Road and to obtain required permits from the township without a PennDOT highway occupancy permit. 

The commissioners are also expected to set a date for a public hearing to consider amending a covenant to allow a gasoline station on premises of Marketplace Shopping Center as proposed by Weis Markets.
