A strong intelligent woman appreciates the democratic stance fully supporting equal pay for women,Read More women's right to control their own bodies, family healthcare, and education. As for records, talk about records, the last person to release so few records as Romney was Nixon....every other candidate has for decades, yet he remains secretive...secretive like what his plan really includes...what cuts... which deductions...which programs...is it still FEMA?...is it still reducing education funding? I have seen Gerard's personal attacks elsewhere so I am choosing not to receive your replies. CIvil people are welcome.

Specter would stomp on poor Benny's gout-ridden foot and tell him to act like a lady.
Pamela J. Sedor October 20, 2012 at 03:30 pm
Senator Arlen Specter was to visit Radnor Memorial Library in November of 2012. Radnor HistoricalRead More Society and the Library were looking forward to hearing the longtime public servant talk about his new book. When I talked with Mrs. Specter last month she said the Senator was not well and that we should plan on having him visit next year when he would be feeling better. I admire this woman behind the man who over the years overcame serious health problems to always return to serving Pennsylvanians in Washington. Our thoughts are with the Senator's lovely wife and family at this time of sorrow.
Nancy Law January 16, 2013 at 09:50 pm
Senator Arlen Specter was evil. The world is better with one less vile person. He is truly one toRead More be ashamed of. Good riddance!

Thanks, Tom. The other quote that stuck with me was when Mr. Sayer described everyone on theRead More steering committee as a community leader for their participation.

Mariann, what a beautiful tribute to Dick! I was fortunate to have know Dick eventhough the time wasRead More way too short! Being a member of the Tri-Centennial committee under his leadership was something that I will never forget and I will remember fondly helping him slay some of those "alligators" Upper Moreland lost a great treasure when Dick passed and I know that I for one will miss him greatly!
Joan Greenberg February 21, 2011 at 02:29 pm
All credit for the art collection at the Upper Moreland Library should go to Elaine Klawans, forRead More initiating the idea, and her husband Alan. They selected and installed the collection. One additional correction: the library was automated before it moved to the current location. We joined McLINC, a county-wide automation system, a few years after the move. I never knew Lillian Burnley but I send condolences to her family. This article makes me wish I hadRead More known her. Ms Deming's writing, which I follow in various ways, always makes me wish I knew the person she is describing It sounds as though Lillian Burnley made contributions to all with whom she had contact over her lifetime.
