Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) 2003 Computer Network Administration/Hatboro-Horsham High School graduate, Cliff Hamilton, is the Systems and Network Engineer for Innovative IT Concepts, Inc. based in Warminster, PA. Hamilton has been interested in computers since he was in the fifth grade and his interest just grew stronger as he continued through school. Hamilton learned about EASTERN’s Computer Network Administration program through his cousin who was also interested in the program. Together they went to EASTERN’s Open House, where Hamilton immediately filled out a registration card. “When I heard more about the program at Open House, it felt like I found my calling. Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) 2001 Computer Network Administration/Jenkintown High School graduate, George Beech, is currently running the server and network infrastructure for a start up in New York City called Stack Exchange. Stack Exchange, serving more than 20-million visitors per month, is a fast-growing network of 63 question and answer sites on diverse topics from software programming to cooking to photography and gaming. They are an expert knowledge exchange: a place where physics researchers can ask each other about quantum entanglement, computer programmers can ask about JavaScript date formats, and photographers can share knowledge about taking great pictures in the snow. Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (Eastern) programs offer students the opportunity to get a jump start on college and a career, and Eastern’s Computer Network Administration (CNA) program has students and graduates to prove it. Eastern’s CNA program is a two year, half-day program for high school juniors and seniors who live in Eastern Montgomery County. More than 95 percent of CNA students attend college. Students are offered the opportunity to earn up to 12 transferable credits at Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) through Eastern’s dual enrollment program.
