Eastern Student Moves to District SkillsUSA Competition

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology student David Blair heads to SkillsUSA District Competition for the Employment Application Process competition next week.

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) Computer Network Administration student and Wordsworth Academy junior, David Blair, is moving on to the SkillsUSA District Competition for the Employment Application Process competition to be held on January 31 at Western Center for Technical Studies in Limerick, PA. David is in his first year of EASTERN’s Computer Network Administration program. Wordsworth Transition Coordinator, Steve Bass, arranged a tour of EASTERN’s facility and programs during David’s sophomore year.    After David conducted some research, he found that EASTERN was one of the best technology schools in Pennsylvania. Eastern Student of the Month: Andrew Weiss

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology’s January student of the month studies in its Computer Network Administration program.

Andrew Weiss is the January 2012 Student of the Month at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove. He is in his second year of EASTERN’s Computer Network Administration program and a senior at Upper Moreland High School. The Student of the Month Award is sponsored by EASTERN’s faculty, Joint Committee and the Willow Grove Rotary Club to highlight student excellence, success and service. Ten students each year are selected for this honor. At EASTERN, Andrew maintains high grades in his Computer Network Administration program while maintaining an active role in SkillsUSA as the 2011 – 2012 School-Wide Treasurer and volunteering at school events such as Parents Night and Tenth Grade Career Expo.  SkillsUSA is a …
