Lower Moreland residents Luciana and Marc Ammaturo are hosting a fundraiser this weekend at Maggio's. All donations go directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world renowned cancer research center. Come watch the Penn State vs. Virginia football game and party among family and friends, whose fight against cancer proves to be a winning one! Team Russo's fundraising event is on Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 12 noon to 3pm at Maggio's. Price: $42 per person includes food, beer & beverages Maggio's Restaurant & Bar at 400 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA in the Hampton Square shopping center. Purchases at Barnes and Noble will help Upper Moreland School District to support summer reading and literacy.

According to an Upper Moreland School District release, the district is sponsoring a Barnes & Noble fundraiser for literacy. The purpose of this event is to support summer reading and literacy. The proceeds will be used to purchase literacy resources for all schools. The fundraising event will started June 11 and ends June 18 at the Willow Grove Barnes & Noble. Online purchases will also be included in the fundraising efforts from June 19-23. The Upper Moreland Township School District can receive up to 25 percent of the profits from items sold in the store. For every eligible item that is purchased online at Barnes & Noble on behalf of the school district, Barnes & Noble will contribute 12 percent of the purchase price to the schools. …

But there's no reason she should feel like the unluckiest gal on Earth. Come out and show support so Joyce can remain living with her grandchildren and daughter, Tracy Dutton Gaal.
