Upper Moreland Music Patrons Benefit from Impact Shopping

The Music Patrons now have a new Impact Shopping webpage, where the UMMP earns a percentage of each sale.

The Upper Moreland Music Patrons, a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the award winning music programs of the school district, holds several fundraising events throughout the year. One such event allows UMMP supporters to help the organization raise money at the click of a button through the UMMP dedicated Impact Shopping website. According to the website, UMMP earns a commission on every purchase made through the site. Participants need not have to sign in to an account to get the advertised sale prices and special offers, simply select from hundreds of retailers presented through the website and start shopping. Many area fundraisers earn cold, hard cash for Awareness

When it comes to fund-raising efforts for breast cancer causes, it’s the passion, the sisterhood, the tireless efforts and the pink tidal wave that seems to push millions of volunteers into action. Music Patrons and school district make beautiful music

The UM Music Patrons have assisted young musicians for generations.

Generations of young musicians have received support from the Upper Moreland Music Patrons. Along with "encouraging and assisting the music programs within the school system, the organization oversees and assumes responsibility for raising funds for a variety of projects in the music departments," according to the mission statement from its website, www.ummp.org.  "Teachers come to us and ask for things, and we raise funds to assist [them]," said Jeff Shaw, who manages publicity for the Music Patrons and maintains the organization’s website.  Shaw initially became involved with the Upper Moreland Music Patrons because his two children, Jeffrey and Melissa, participated in the district's music programs.
