Upper Moreland Police Pay Tribute to 'Man's Best Friends'

The Upper Moreland Police Department planted a tree where four memorial stones honor the former K-9's who worked with police officers.

If you’ve ever visited the Upper Moreland Police Department, you may have missed a tree nestled in the back of the parking lot. Tucked away behind the building structure sits a memorial to the former K-9’s that worked with officers of the UMPD. There are four gravestones with the names and image of each dog that was a key part of the police force.
