UPDATE: Calloway's Remains Closed

Customers expecting to sit down for a meal continue to be surprised at the recent closing.

Calloway's remains closed three days after the owner put a sign up on the door saying the restaurant is closed until further notice. Tom Pileggi Associations - the property manager at the Just-a-Farms Shopping Center - says Calloway's is currently up to date on its rent and they recently received payment for it. For now, the business remains closed. According to the Upper Moreland Business Tax Office, Calloway's has not signed its mercantile license, but that may not be the reason it's closed. "It could be for dozens of reasons that would be worked out between the owner and the property manager," UM Tax Office representative George Kyriakodis told Patch. Patch will continue to update this story as information becomes available. If anyone …

Calloway's Closes Its Doors

A sign was posted on the front door that said the restaurant will be closed until further notice.

Employees showed up for work at Calloway's Monday afternoon only to find out they would have the rest of the day off.  And the next day, and possibly the one after that, too. Calloway's closed its doors without notice and posted a sign on the door that read: Calloway's is closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience. As of 9 p.m. Monday, there was no answer at the restaurant. Its usual hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. The Calloway's Facebook page was regularly making posts as of Sunday night. It appears the closing was sudden, but it is not certain as of now if or when it will reopen. Patch will update this story as details unfold.
