Upper Moreland Home May be Featured on TV

NBC is expected to begin airing episodes of the drama 'Do No Harm' on June 29. Hatboro and Upper Moreland locales were the sites for one of the un-aired episodes.

Locals curious about the outcome of a TV taping at the Hatboro Cemetery and a Newington Drive home in Upper Moreland Township may have their chance to see the footage after all.  Several months after announcements that NBC had shelved its hour-long drama, "Do No Harm," following two episodes of lackluster ratings, The Futon Critic reported that the network intends to "burn off" episodes Saturdays at 10 p.m. beginning on June 29.  Locally, filming for the Philadelphia-based TV show–which portrayed a neurosurgeon with a Jekyll and Hyde-like personality–was carried out in inside a Newington Drive home in Upper Moreland and at the Hatboro Cemetery during tapings over two weeks in January.  The hour-long show, "Do No Harm,"  which starred …

Hatboro May Miss its TV Limelight

NBC cancels 'Do No Harm' prior to the airing of an episode filmed largely in Hatboro and Upper Moreland.

Hatboro Home Site of New NBC TV Episode

A Newington Drive home in Hatboro served as the setting for the filming of an episode of "Do No Harm," a new TV show premiering on NBC Jan. 31.

As the temperature Wednesday morning stalled at a real feel of 8 degrees, cast and crew of a new NBC TV show took refuge in a Newington Drive home in Hatboro. Outside, crews, covered practically from head to toe in heavy coats, gloves, face wraps, and clutching presumably warm drinks in their hands, gave direction as actors inside filmed scenes from a new NBC program, "Do No Harm," which debuts on Jan. 31 at 10 p.m.  Starring Steven Pasquale and "The Cosby Show" mom, Phylicia Rashad, the show is set in Philadelphia, according to the show's location manager, Demian Resnick.  For more news and updates about Hatboro and Horsham, subscribe to our free newsletter,"like" us on Facebook or follow @Hatboropatch on Twitter.
