Reports of Voter Fraud, Voter ID Challenges, Irregularities Reported in Eastern PA

Election Day brought problems at polls in several areas of eastern Pennsylvania

EASTERN PA — Several reports of voting irregularities in Eastern Pennsylvania emerged on Tuesday, the day of the presidential election. In Easton, signs appeared offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to voter fraud convictions. A constable for Easton’s 10th ward removed one such sign staked into the ground after consulting with an elections attorney on site. Another issue of Murt’s has been Marcellus Share Drilling, which Kolla has already challenged him on. Both candidates have said education will be a primary focus if elected in 2012. About two weeks ago, Gov. Ed Rendell was in Hatboro campaigning for Kolla.

'Man's Best Friend' is a Hit at the Polls

If you voted in Ward 5-1 today. you may have seen Chivas.

The temperatures have dropped this week and any resident who voted in Ward 5-1 saw the effects of the cooler weather. Chivas, the local Therapy Dog who has been lending his services throughout the township over parts of the last decade, was bundled up in a blanket under a voter registration table to cover up his already warm, puffy coat of fur.  Chivas' owner, Judge of Elections Judy MacDonald, was busy at work at the Upper Moreland School District Administrative Building while Chivas "entertained" the line of voters waiting to cast their vote in the 2012 Election. Serving at the polls is nothing new for Chivas. Over the last six years he's made his presence felt at the Ward 5-1 polling place. But it almost wasn't the case. Years ago one …
