County Steps up Mobile Recycling Game
Recycling containers now available for a variety of events.
Thanks to a grant funded by ‘Keep America Beautiful’ and Anheuser-Busch, Montgomery County has acquired 18 collapsible recycling containers for use at stores, parks and public events. "Let's face it, most beverage containers are consumed when folks are out and about and on the go," said Chris Kaasmann, Montgomery County Recycling Coordinator. "This program is a great opportunity to provide recycling options where there were previously none before." Event organizers will be able to reserve up to 18 containers at a time by using a calendar on the County's website.
