Subway 'Redoubling' Efforts in Light of Sandwich Length Lawsuit

Two New Jersey men have sued Subway because they said the sandwiches are not the full advertised foot. Now, Subway says it promises to ensure all subs are in fact 12 inches.

Willow Grove residents who like to enjoy a Footlong from Subway can rest assured that sub will in fact be 12 inches, according to a new pledge from the fast food chain. Earlier this week, news spread of a lawsuit filed by two New Jersey men who said they measured 17 Subway Footlongs and all of them came up short. Subway has responded to the allegations, pledging it will work to ensure all sandwiches are in fact 12 inches. Subway provided the following statement to the Chicago Tribune: "We have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve. Subway Sued Over Sandwich Length

Two men from New Jersey have sued Subway because they say the footlong sandwiches measure less than 12 inches.

If you're headed to Subway bring your appetite -- and your ruler. That's if you pay as close attention to the size of your sandwich as two New Jersey men, who are suing the fast food chain because they say the advertised footlong sub is just shy of 12 inches.
