The man was arrested near Kmart for public drunkenness, drug possession and weapons violations.
Matthew Isaac Cross-Harris, 21, of Easton Road, Willow Grove, was arrested Jan. 25 just after 9 p.m. following a report of four intoxicated people near Kmart in the 2600 block of Moreland Road, police said. According to police, a caller said all four of the people — one woman and three men — were “having difficulty maintaining their faculties.” According to police, the woman, later identified as Sara Ruth Dickinson, 18, of Lansdale, said that she and the three men had been smoking Phencyclidine, more commonly known as PCP, earlier. A white male robbed a home in the 1900 block of Terwood Road yesterday.
The following statement was released by the Upper Moreland Police Department: A daytime residential burglary occurred in the 1900 block of Terwood Rd. on 8/27/12. A neighbor observed a white male get out of a tan sedan, which he backed into the driveway, and walk around the back of the house at around noon. Please call 911 if you see suspicious activity. Lt. Kudos to Upper Moreland High School graduates (l-r) R. Calvin Wiley and Taylor Woodman who were recipients of the Upper Moreland Township Police Benevolent Association Scholarship presented by Sergeant Mark Drakeley and Officer Scott S. Metheny. The scholarship is given to students who plan to pursue a career in criminal justice. Applicants are evaluated based on academics, extracurricular activities, community service and an essay on why they are interested in criminal justice as a career.

[Updated July 11] Upper Moreland Police have found that the reported suspicious person on July 10, is said to be a pizza delivery person. According to the police report, the pizza delivery person, driving the described red truck, had delivered to the wrong residence. [original story below] According to Upper Moreland Police in a Nixle report, at 1:30 p.m. July 10, in the 3300 block of Bartram Road in Willow Grove, a white male parked a pick-up truck in the driveway of a home. The report stated the man knocked at the door of the house and when the owner answered, he went back to his vehicle without saying anything to the resident and left the area. Upper Moreland Police reported an attempted theft of the TD Bank, located at Moreland and Fitzwatertown roads in Abington Township. The suspect, described as a black female with long, braided hair, wearing a denim jacket and white pants, attempted the theft approximtely 3:30 p.m. today. The suspect was last seen crosing Moreland Road into Upper Moreland Township. If seen, call 9-1-1.

Upper Moreland Police are looking for the suspect who robbed Brave New World at knifepoint.
Upper Moreland Police confirmed reports of a robbery at knifepoint in Willow Grove last night. Police told Patch that an employee of the comic book store, Brave New World, located at 433 W Moreland Road, was held up at knifepoint at approximately 8:25 p.m. Police say that the suspect took all the money from the cash register and fled on foot. According to Upper Moreland Police, on the afternoon of Nov. 4, a male allegedly beat and robbed a woman in Warminster Township. Police in the region were searching all day for the suspect and his vehicle. In the middle of the night, an Upper Moreland officer observed the suspect's vehicle parked at a house in the 400 block of Robin Road. Attempts to contact the suspect were unsuccessful so a SWAT team was deployed. Shortly after 5 a.m., the SWAT team made contact with the suspect who surrendered without incident.

The Warminster Police Department has an arrest warrant for Tyler Allen Dailey. When apprehended, Dailey will be charged with 7 counts of residential burglary. Dailey may be armed with a handgun. He is a 23-year old white male, 6'4" 140 pounds, with blue eyes. He is believed to be homeless.
