Who’s Who Among American Junior Colleges welcomes several county residents to its famed list.
Sixty-two students from Montgomery County Community College’s Class of 2013 – including two from Willow Grove – were named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. To qualify for Who’s Who, students must have graduated during the 2012-2013 academic year with a grade point average of at least 2.75 and must be nominated by a member of MCCC’s faculty or staff. Fort Washington-based Nutrisystem, announced it will begin selling their 5-Day Nutrisystem Jumpstart Your Weight Loss Kit at 2,000 Walmart stores across the country. The kit, according to an article in the Herald Online, includes 15 entrees, five desserts, a meal planner and program guide. Locally the kits can be purchased at the Willow Grove Walmart, according to the list on Nutrisystem's website.

A report of a building fire was called into Willow Grove Fire Co. over the weekend.
[Update 4-29-13] According to John Fugelo, Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Co. captain, the reported building fire that occurred on the evening of April 26, at the intersection of Krewson Terrace and Church Street in Willow Grove was not serious in nature. Fugelo stated that the fire originated in a resident's oven in conjunction with a plastic container or substance, but was self-contained.
