The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling on Interstate 276 (I-276) east from Ft. Washington (Exit #339) and west from Bensalem (Exit 351) to be prepared for new traffic patterns to be implemented eastbound and westbound at the Willow Grove Interchange (Exit 343) before 6 a.m., Feb. 1. Portable and permanent message signs have been activated to provide advance notice of the traffic shift and construction updates. [From the PA Turnpike Commission]: The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling westbound on the PA Turnpike (I-276) between the Delaware Valley (Exit #358) and Willow Grove (Exit #343) Interchange to be prepared for a double-lane traffic pattern to be in effect tonight, Thursday (May 31) from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. At 9 p.m. construction crews will establish a double-lane pattern westbound, closing the center and right lanes between milepost 352-348 during bridge deck repairs until the pattern is lifted by 6:00 a.m. Friday morning. Motorists should stay alert for slow moving or stopped traffic approaching the Bensalem exit and obey the posted 40 mph speed limit through the work zone. All work is …
