Police say a man who allegedly fired off several shots inside a County Line Road eatery Friday morning has turned himself in. NBC10 reports Jose Delgado, accompanied by his lawyer, surrendered to Warminster Police last night. Delgado faces several charges including discharging a firearm, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail. Update Friday, 1:04 p.m.: Police said a business dispute ended in shots being fired in a Warminster eatery Friday morning. According to police, Jose Delgado, 33, the former owner of MamaJuana’s Kitchen, entered the business and fired four shots in the direction of the current owner just after 10 a.m. “By the grace of God, we don’t have multiple victims,” said Warminster Chief of Police Mike Murphy at a press conference at the township building following the incident. On November 1, an officer from the Lower Moreland Police Department was responding to the 1400 block of County Line Road for an electrical fire caused by fallen power lines at Mann Road. County Line Road was closed shortly after and another Fire Police vehicle was approaching the scene for assistance. Behind that Fire Police car was a silver sedan weaving through stopped traffic that let the emergency vehicle pass. As the sedan approached the police officer, the officer told the driver, a male from Philadelphia, that the road was closed and he needed to find a different route. The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will close County Line Road between Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike) and Pine Road in Upper Southampton and Lower Southampton townships, Bucks County and Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County beginning Sunday (Oct. 21) for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. County Line Road will be closed Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Jan. 31. During construction, County Line Road through traffic will be detoured over Pine Road, Byberry Road, and Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike). PennDOT has announced that parts of County Line Road will have lane closures in Lower Moreland Township. The Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority will be test drilling and will cause lane closures between Centennial Rd. and Pine Rd. Morning commuters should expect some delays since work will start at 9 a.m. Lane closures are expected to end about 3 p.m. Test drilling will occur from Oct. 15 to Oct. 19. SEPTA will resurface the railroad crossing on the Warminster Line, closing County Line Road between Park and Oakdale avenues from Oct. 12-15.
SEPTA has advised area residents that County Line Road will be closed between Park Avenue and Oakdale Avenue from Friday, October 12 at 7 p.m. to Monday the 15th at 4 a.m. Crews will spend the weekend resurfacing the Warminster line's railroad crossing on County Line. Vehicles traveling eastbound on County Line are advised to take York Road north to Street Road, travel eastbound on Street Road to Jacksonville, then take Jacksonville south to County Line. Westbound drivers are advised to take the reverse path. Oakdale and Park avenues will remain accessible to drivers during construction. Shuttle service between Warminster and Jenkintown stations will be available for weekend rail riders.
